The idea of guilt cristalized into green, local and sustainable thiking completely fascinates me lately.
These are just old illustrations but I thought I should post them. They are aging well.
Gallery Knopp (Stockholm) did an expo in 2004 with some of my works. However I no longer have these works online, they are too “electro”. I don’t know what got into us but we all were too much into that crap and now I can’t even look at that stuff without feeling embarrased. Though some people still like it, don’t know why.
They asked for some illustrations to be included in a book about “digital illustrations”. I still don’t know what they meant with digital so I did my thing and they liked it, they asked for a couple more and here they are, “digital illustrations”. I’ll post pictures of the book as soon as I can get my hands on it.
This is a type I designed for a project that never came out. Anyhow, the type is great so the I consider the project profitable.
Me and my friend Iñaki G Hoz created a fictitious advertising agency based on the idea of honesty and sophistication. We picked up the trend of marketing white brands as quality brands and we extend the application of this trend to advertising. If people don’t trust over-branding why should they trust over-advertising? Whitebrand is advertising as a whitebrand.
I did the logo for a studio David Cano and I were about to start. He got hired and I moved on with my own carer but the logo was great and we had fun designing together.
I tell my story (with funny puppets) as a graphic designer in this self promotional animation. I did everything with my Maya, AfterEffects and my average technical skills.
